As a Healthcare assistant, you will play a vital role in the care of patients. Working under the direction of more senior healthcare professionals, you will take care of the day-to-day needs of patients by providing help with personal care, meals and mobility.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

•             Carrying out a range of housekeeping duties

•             Performing basic medical tasks, such as taking a patient’s temperature, pulse, respiration             

              rate, administration of medication.

•             Serving meals and helping to feed patients.

•             Helping patients to move around.

•             Talking to patients and making them comfortable.

•             Providing support in maintaining personal care including infection prevention and control,

              personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety

•             Promoting positive mental, physical, nutritional health with patients.

 

Minimum Requirement

Skills & Experience:

•             Admirable Care experience

•             Excellent ability to communicate, build and maintain interpersonal relationships

•             Ability to demonstrate good personal qualities including a warm, Friendly and Cheerful         

              disposition, caring and kind nature, Empathetic

•             This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check
